On the evening of November 29, the church hosted its annual Thanksgiving dinner, welcoming a record attendance of approximately 200 brothers and sisters. The meal, generously donated by an anonymous member, was offered free of charge to all attendees.

The dining hall was thoughtfully decorated with seasonal floral arrangements by Sister Julie Shiu and her team, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The delightful meal featured a Chinese-style menu, including pork, chicken, vegetables, and stir-fried noodles. It not only filled physical appetites but also nurtured meaningful relationships and a shared sense of gratitude among all present.

After dinner, both the English and Chinese congregations gathered to share testimonies of God's grace. The English congregation began with a testimony from Sister Grace Wang, followed by a group testimony session in the main sanctuary. Meanwhile, the Chinese congregation, seated around tables in the dining hall, eagerly shared stories of God's work in their lives.

The testimonies encompassed a range of experiences, from life transformations and spiritual growth to miraculous protection and provision. Some shared how they came to faith through the quiet dedication of others, while others expressed gratitude for God's guidance during times of trial. Each testimony was a moving reminder of God's faithfulness and abundant grace.

A Season of Thanksgiving

As the evening came to a close, the congregation was reminded that gratitude is a daily response to God’s blessings. From life’s joys to its trials, His grace is ever-present, turning difficulties into testimonies of His power and love. May we continue to live as witnesses to His amazing grace, glorifying His name in all that we do.
